Meeting of the Knights of Columbus

Grand Knights Report: October 6, 2007

• Blood drive at St. John Vianney Church at 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Vala's Pumpkin Patch Potluck Party is at 5:00p.m. to closing. The cost is $5.00 per person.

Treasurer's Report:

• FAF is at $1,872.60, C.D.'s $20,000.00, and $8,000.00

Deputy Grand Knights Report:

• Soccer Challenge at Skutt High School, 10:00a.m. September 29, 2007, ages 10-14, call Ron McDermott or Ray Honaker for more details.

Old Business: None

New Business:

• Servers Party was a big success, 15 servers were present and families. Good Job! Dick Schneider. Religious Education Program requested $300.00 donation for supplies, we will discuss at officers meeting.
• Cleaning crew on Saturday mornings needs help cleaning the church and narthex areas if anyone is available we start at 8:00-10:00a.m.
• Help with Spaghetti Dinner is always needed anytime you can help would be appreciated between 9:30a.m and 7:00p.m. September 23, 2007.
• We are looking into the price of seed and fertilizer for the parish grounds, more to follow on this.
• Christmas cards this year will be handled by John Johnson, call him or see him about setting up after masses to take orders.
• Meeting on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 6:00p.m. in the social hall, to discuss Biloxi, MS trip.

Insurance Agent Report:

• Doug Kelly was top agent for June and July for the Pfeifer Insurance Agency. Great Job! Doug. We watched a video of 9/11 The Knights Respond. Video available from Doug Kelly if interested.
